Xi’an Brictec KTB Project Enters Accelerated Construction Phase
Company Leaders Visit Site to Review Progress

Summary:
On September 5, 2025, Mr. Lan Xingming, General Manager of Xi'an Brictec Engineering Co., Ltd. together with the company’s Project Technical Director, visited the KTB project site to review and listen to updates on the construction progress.

Project Overview:
The project plans to build three modern tunnel kiln fired brick production lines, to be carried out in three phases. Upon the commissioning of Phase I and Phase II, Xi’an Brictec will launch its second turnkey brick project in Iraq after participating in the Sulaymaniyah Najimadin project. The project is designed with a production capacity of 1,200 tons, covering mainstream brick types in Iraq: mainly clay fired bricks of 24011575mm, 400200200mm, and 200200400mm.

Current Construction Progress of KTB Project:
1. For Line 1: refractory brick wall masonry completed for 18 kiln cars; end-ring beam at the kiln entrance completed, with formwork support in place, awaiting rebar tying; red brick wall at kiln exit completed.
2. Tunnel kiln entry and exit track beams poured; part of the transfer car positioning plate not yet poured; foundation cushion for Line 3 tunnel kiln and storage line completed, foundation pit finished, raft foundation rebar 1/4 completed.
3. Transfer car cushion and retaining wall concrete at both ends of Line 3 completed.
4. For the green brick storage (Chenghua warehouse): V-type foundation excavation and leveling 1/3 completed; retaining wall concrete on both sides finished; 2/3 of brick-concrete retaining walls at both ends completed.

Key Construction Tasks Ahead for KTB Project:
1. Complete Line 1 refractory brick wall masonry before September 8.
2. Finish Line 1 ring beam concreting, install embedded parts for main beams, and pour cast-in-place concrete roof at kiln entrance.
3. Complete transfer car track construction at tunnel kiln entry and exit.
4. Complete half of the Line 1 exterior red brick wall masonry.
5. Bond lightweight insulation bricks and mullite bricks; clear and level a flat open area on site.
6. Ensure steel for ceiling arrives on site before September 20; embedded parts for main beams arrive before September 8.
7. Complete Line 2 refractory brickwork below curved flue by September 12; complete 1/3 of brickwork above the curved flue.
8. Cast in-situ concrete roof at kiln entrance of Line 2.
9. Complete 2/3 of Line 3 raft foundation; weld U-bolts, kiln wall columns, and embedded plates for fan platform.
10. For green brick storage (Chenghua warehouse): compact V-type foundation, pour cushion, erect foundation columns, and bind foundation steel bars.
11. Complete foundation concreting for overhead belt conveyor.
12. Complete masonry of retaining walls at both ends of the green brick storage.
