Block cutter with double wire frames
Date:2025-09-01

Equipment introduction:The twin-screw frame wire-cutter is a wire-cutting device driven by two synchronized ball screws, moving the cutting frame vertically to slice wet clay, shale or coal-gangue bricks to exact length.
Block cutter with double wire frames adopts side pushing method to cut the equal length mud strips which conveyed by slitter into corresponding specifications. It is suitable for solid or small hole bricks. The double wires structure can avoid production interruption caused by wire replacement. The equipment has the advantages of compact structure, good stability, high precision and low maintenance cost.

Application in Clay Brick Plant:
Positioned downstream of the extruder, it converts the continuous clay column into uniform brick blanks before stacking, drying and firing.
Technical parameters:
Model | Cutting frequency | Pressure | Power | Weight | Dimension (L × W × H) |
times/min | Mpa | Kw | kg | mm | |
QTB.01.00 | 12-16 | 0.6-0.8 | 3 | 1200 | 4000x1400x1500 |

Function:
The high-rigidity twin-screw drive ensures all cutting wires move simultaneously at identical speed and position, giving synchronous, distortion-free cuts

Comparison with Synchronous Cutter
Item | Twin-Screw Frame | Synchronous Cutter |
Drive | Mechanical twin screws | Servo motor + linkage |
Wire qty | Up to 20 wires, single break replaceable | Usually fixed set |
Wire-break protection | Single break continues running | Requires full stop |
Maintenance | Modular quick change | Complex linkage adjustment |

Cutting Advantages
1. If one wire breaks, the rest keep working—non-stop production;
2. Cutting accuracy ≤ ±1 mm with clean edges;
3. Modular frame allows full wire set change in 10 min;
4. Wear-resistant screws last ≥30,000 h maintenance-free.

Key Specifications
1. Max cutting width: 1,200 mm
2. Cutting frequency: 15–45 cuts/min (VFD adjustable)
3. Installed power: 11 kW
4. Brick types: solid, perforated, hollow and pavers
