Core Equipment for Raw Material Pre-processing
In the clay sintered brick production line, the rotary screen feeder is positioned between the raw material crushing system and the mixing/extrusion section, performing the following critical functions:
Screening & Impurity Removal:
Filters out stones, plant roots, and other impurities from clay through a rotating screen (typical aperture: 3-10mm), preventing damage to downstream equipment (e.g., vacuum extruder screws).
Uniform Feeding:
Delivers clay at a consistent flow rate to the next process via an adjustable-speed rotating disc (speed: 2-15 rpm), ensuring stable input for mixers or extruders.
Moisture Regulation:
Advanced models integrate spray systems to uniformly adjust water content during feeding (±2% moisture control range).
